A dirty eye

If you animal’s eyes present white (mucus), yellow or green (pus) secretions, the eye is then often dirty.

It can be :

• An ocular infection (conjunctivitis or bacterial or viral keratitis).
• A lacrimal failure (KCS) : keratoconjunctivitis sicca (KCS)
• A malposition of the eyelids : Entropion
• A foreign body

In any case, this symptom is not to be neglected and must incite you to see your veterinarian.
